A triangle only has 3 sides and if theyre all equal it must be an equilateral triangle. The total of all the angles on a triangle is 180° so 180/3=60 so each side must be 60°.it is possible, try drawing it using a protractor.

What is the difference between an isosceles and acute triangle?

They both have 3 sides but an isosceles triangle has two equal sides whereas an acute triangle with different acute angles has no equal sides and is said to be a scalene triangle, or an acute triangle with three equal acute angles (of 60° each) and three equal sides is called an equilateral triangle.

Is it possible to have an obtuse equalateral triangle?

No. Every equilateral triangle has three equal acute angles of 60 degrees each.

How many acute angles does a scalene triangle have?

The only rule for a scalene triangle is that it must have no equal angles (as a consequence, it has no equal sides as well). Outside of that, it can have any angles possible for a triangle. The sum of the angles in every triangle must be 180º. Reminding that an acute angle has less than 90º, an scalene triangle may have 3 acute angles (for example, 61º, 60º and 59º) or 2 acute angles (for example, 120º, 40º and 20º).It is impossible to have a triangle with 1 or less acute angles, since for 1 acute angle we would need the other 2 to be greater or equal than 90º, which is impossible - we cannot have a 0º or negative angle in a triangle.

How many acute angles are in a equilateral triangle?

In an equilateral triangle, all of the angles are equal, which makes them all 60 degrees. Therefore, all three angles are acute.

Which triangle has all angles equal?

An equilateral triangle - it has three angles of 60 degrees.

Is is possible for an isosceles triangle to be an acute triangle?

Yes, but a triangle is acute only if all three of its angles are acute (< 90o).An isosceles triangle can be an acute triangle, but it doesn't have to be.An acute triangle can be an isosceles triangle, but it doesn't have to be.That depends on the sizes of its angle because an isosceles triangle has 2 equal sides and 2 equal angles which could be 70 degrees, 70 degrees and 40 degrees which are all acute angles that add up to 180 degrees.

What are the angles in an isosceles triangle?

Two equal, acute angles and a third which is not equal to them.

No. Every equilateral triangle has three equal acute angles of 60 degrees each.

Is a scalene triangle acute?

It has no equal sides and no equal angles. It can be acute or not. So the answer is it can be.

Only when it has 3 equal acute angles of 60 degrees

Is it possible to draw a triangle that is both obtuse and equilateral?

No because an equilateral triangle has 3 equal acute angles of 60 degrees
