Theoretically, it's possible. However, it would be a completely undesirable situation, one reserved for stranded, neglected or seriously ill humans. If you're thinking about putting your body through something like that for the sake of quick weight loss, you'll be doing yourself far more harm than good, and eventually the weight will come back anyway.
