there is a relationship between a solid and a prism because it has the same number of vertices and edges so jus listen 2 meh and put yes
Any kind of prism...:)
Any sort of prism.
There is no relationship, in the sense that you can have any base are with any height. For a prism shape (if the horizontal cross section is always the same as the base), the base area times the height is equal to the volume.
An edge of any solid shape is the line where two faces meet.
The volume of any prism can be found by calculating the area of the base and multiplying it by the height of the prism. Recall that a prism is a solid shape composed of a base that is a polygon. By translating that base "up" and adding the "sides" to create the solid shape, you have constructed the prism. And now you can calculate its volume.Note that the base could be triangular, or could be a square, a pentagon, hexagon, or any other polygon. Standard rules apply for calculating the areas of these polygons.
NO!!!! A polygon is a 2-dimensional figure. A Prism js a 3-dimensional solid. NB Poly gon is spelled as 'POLYGON' NOT ' Polygone'.
The volume of any prism is the product of the area of the base and the distance between the two bases(i.e. Height)
triangular prism i don't if thats right somewhere else, but if you're from connexus its rectangular prism. Improved answer: I sense confusion between the question and the reply. A triangular prism has six vertices. An infinite amount of solid objects have more vertices. The question "Which solid figure has the least vertices" is probably the intended question, in which case the answer is a tetrahedron or spheroids. The tetrahedron has four vertices, the least number a solid with only planar surfaces can have. Of course any number of solids have no vertices, like the sphere and other spheroids.
It could be a prism, but need not be. A regular dodecahedron, for example, is not a prism but has parallel and congruent pentagonal bases. You can also have any antiprism (see link).
There isn't any special relationship between Slovakia and US. There is standard, good relationship between countries.
A regular polyhedron (other than a hexahedron), any pyramid, as well as most irregular polyhedra.
in 3d shapes, a prism must have two congruent bases, and all of the other sides must be made of congruent rectangles. (squares are rectangles.A2. A prism is a solid with two parallel ends, and of constant cross-section between them. And normally with 90deg between the base and a side.It may be of any number of sides, and as the number of sides gets large, the shape approaches that of a cylinder. This is one item of the set of prismatoids, others of which can ignore the 90deg constraint and so on.
