Trig identities are vital in upper level math. Anything involving the unit circle or triangles is completely based in the trig identities. Trig is used in many other fields, such as architecture, where the identities play a huge role.
these are the identities i need sinΘcosΘ=cosΘ sec^4Θ-tan^4Θ=sec²Θcsc²Θ (1+sec²Θ)/(1-secΘ)=(cosΘ-1)/(cosΘ)
Trig., Calculus.
Know you algebra and trig. When I took calculus that is what my teachers told me. You will use both extensively in manipulations and identities and functions. Then you can learn the calculus.
Your brain is constantly doing trig subconsciously when you see(unless you have only 1 working eye). When we see things to gain depth perception, and thus gauge distance that is trig.
Surveyors, physicists, astronomers, construction people, chemists and other professions would use the trig functions outside of class. Burger flippers? Not so much.
Trig Palin's birth name is Trig Paxson Van Palin.
In Trig, identities are 'ultimate truths' of trigonometry. These are statements that are true regardless of the angle. Ex: sin A / cos A = tan A is true for all angles unless cos A = 0 (division by zero is undefined)
trig
No Trig is not in Afghanistan cause he is to young to serve. Trig is Palin's youngest child.
It just simplifies down to 1=1. You have to use your trig identities... tan=sin/cos cot=cos/sin thus tan x cot= (sin/cos) (cos/sin) since sin is in the numerator for tan, when it is multiplied by cot (which has sin in the denominator) both of the signs cancel and both now have a value of 1. The same happens with cos. so you get 1 x 1=1 so there is your answer. just learn your trig identities and you will understand

No, not even close. Though both work with variables in some instances and other mathematical techniques, such as logarithms and algebraic manipulation, algebra is mostly equation solving to get the variables value, though trig has equations, while trig is the study of triangular and circular measurement and using these measurements to solve specific problems. Trig is much about identities, functions and many formulas while algebra is mostly about function and equation manipulation. Still, they are both mathematical disciplines.
