Calculus is higher than Algebra. There are also courses on Linear Algebra and Differential Equations that are higher than college Algebra. If you contact the Math department of any college they should be able to give you a specific answer as to what courses they correspond with and what a challenging math class would be.
Algebra by far. Statistics assumes a higher level of math learned already. Take algebra then stats
Yes. It forms the basis for any higher mathematics. Success in science depends upon ones knowledge of algebra and other higher mathematics.
Algebra 1 is in a way better than Pre-Algebra. Algebra 1 is more advanced than Pre-Algebra and will increase your chances in college. But of course there are higher levels than Algebra 1, and if you can master those or at least maintain a decent grade (as in B or higher and maybe a C but it depends on which college or school you are planning on going to). You should not want to take the easy road in life, and that is for everything you do. Pre-Algebra is an easy road and although you may bother to learn the basics and call it a success in life, you sould still go further and maybe you will become something greater tha you expect of yourself. So, the answer to your question is answered with another question: "Do you want to become more successful in life and do Pre-Algebra or are you going to do something maybe even higher than Algebra 1?"
Beat someone with a higher star ranking than you

in Jr. tennis, you play USTA matches to earn your ranking. The more times you win or advance into the next round, the higher your ranking. also, beating someone whose ranking is higher than you will boost your ranking up. most rankings are regional, state, or national. in professional tennis, its mostly the same, but its ranked for bigger tournaments, like the US open, Australian open, etc. If you watch a big tournament on tv, it will most of the time tell you who is ranked what and what their ranking will be if they win the tournament.
It depends on which one your talking about. You can probably go to the store and ask a manger or someone of higher ranking
It tells higher ranking people the knowledge that people trust you, and that you should be promoted to a higher ranking badge, like a supervisor and such.
