To find the prime factors of a number it is helpful to divide that number by obvious divisors first. In this case, 1500 can obviously be divided by 100, which is 2x2x5x5 in prime factor form. That leaves us with 15, which we know from times tables to be 3x5. Thus the prime factors of 1500 are 2, 2, 3, 5, 5 and 5. In order to find the other factors (apart from 1) you multiply any combination of these prime factors together. Doing so gives us the factors of 1,500 as:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 50, 60, 75, 100, 125, 150, 250, 300, 375, 500, 750 and 1500.
