∙ 10y agoThere are two main formulae for finding the circumference of a circle. * C=2 x pi x radius * C= pi x diameter
To find the circumference of a circle you multiply the diameter by pi (3.14), the diameter is two times the radius.
The circumference of a circle with a diameter of two is about 6.28
you divide the area by pi. then, find the square root of the number you have. now you have the radius. find the circumference by multiplying by the diameter or by multiplying by two times the radius.
The circumference of a circle is equal to its diameter times pi. This is also equal to two times its radius times pi.
A track 7m wide consists of two concentric circles. The circumference of the inner circle is 440m. Find, 1) the radius of the outer circle 2) the circumference of the outer circle.
To find the diameter you need to know what the radius of the circle which is from the center to the circumference ,the edge, then you times it by two and that's how yo find the diameter
You divide the circumference by Pi (about 3.1416). This gives you the diameter. Divide the diameter by two to get the radius.
In order to convert the area of a circle to the circumference of the circle, divide by the radius and multiply by two. The formula for the circumference of a circle is pi times the diameter.
The circumference of a circle is 2*pi*radius or pi*diameter
The area of a circle with a circumference of forty two units is 140.4 square inches.
circumference = 2 x π x radius ⇒ radius = circumference ÷ (2 x π) Divide the circumference by two times π (≈ 6.283).
