A z-test is a statistical test which compares a test statistic - the z-score - which is based on data with the standard normal distribution. If used appropriately (very often it isn't) it will indicate the probability, under a null hypothesis, of observing an outcome at least as extreme.
A simple z is a letter of the alphabet. In algebra it is used to denote variables; in coordinate geometry it is usually used to denote the third orthogonal direction for the coordinate space.
Excel has a ZTEST function. It has the format ZTEST(array, µ0, sigma).
ZTest
z2 = z * z * 1; z = z * 1. Greatest common factor is z.
Why is Z so important you may ask? Well its simple... Z IS FREEKIN AWSOME
"decreased by" means "minus" 12 decreased by z means 12 - z It really is that simple.

Z
The common ion charge of an element, Z, can be determined by looking at its position on the periodic table and its group number. Elements in the same group tend to have the same common ion charge due to their similar electron configurations. You can also refer to a periodic table to determine the common ion charge of element Z.
The expression xy + z represents the sum of the product of x and y with the value of z. This is a simple algebraic expression where x and y are variables representing numbers, and z is a constant value. To find the result of xy + z, you would first multiply x and y, and then add the value of z to the product.
Simple as pie
Hold Ctrl and press Z. It's fairly simple.
