In probability "or" is the inclusive or. Thus, given two events, A and B, the event "A or B" refers to either A or B or both.

This is in contrast to "exclusive or", according to which "A eor B" refers to A or B but not both. The eor is used in logic, chip design and programming but has not really caught on in probability.
