The easiest way is to convert the mixed number to an improper fraction, multiply the numerators and denominators and then convert the result back to a mixed number:
4 3/5 = 23/5
23/5 x 2/3 = 46/15
= 3 1/15
(3 + (1 / 3)) * (2 / 3) = 20/9 It is 20 3rds.
two-thirds is larger than three-fifths. Proof: 2/3 = 0.6667 3/5 is 0.6 Obviously 2/3 is greater than 3/5
2/3 - 3/5 = 1/15 2/3 = 10/15 3/5 = 9/15 10/15 - 9/15 = 1/15
2/3 times 3/4 = 1/2
2 and 2 5ths... its really not that hard...
3 and 2 5ths as a fraction = 3 2/5 or 17/5
3 x 2/5 = 6/5
One and a 1/3
6 2/3 - 2 2/3 = 4
7/3 = 2 and 1/3
3/1 x 2/5= 6/5 =1 1/5
4 and 2 5ths = 22/5 2 and 3 5ths = 13/5 22/5 + 13/5 = 35/5 = 7/1 = 7
