Take any circle. The ratio of its circumference (c) to its diameter (d) is pi.

In other words, c/d = π therefore c = dπ.

As the diameter is twice the radius this can be stated as c = 2rπ or, more familiarly 2πr.

What is diameter of a 130mm circumferance?

Circumference equals Diameter times Pi, OR Diameter equals (Circumference)/(Pi). In this case, Diameter equals (130mm)/(Pi or 3.14159) equals 41.38mm

What is the diameter of a circle with a 120 inch circumference?

Circumference equals pi multiplied by diameter. Therefore 120 (circumference) divided by pi equals diameter. Pi is on your calculator.

Does circumference times diameter equal pi?

No; circumference divided by diameter equals pi.

What is the circumference of a circle whose diameter equals 1?

Circumference is pi * diameter, so the circumference is pi.

What is the equation to get circumference of a circle if you have diameter?

Circumference = Pi x Diameter (Pi equals 3.14)

Does circumference equals pi diameter?

Yes. Circumference (of a circle) is pi x the diameter of the circle.

What is the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 6?

Since circumference equals pi times the diameter, if the diameter of a circle is 6, then its circumference is going to be pi times 6 or 6 pi.

What is the diameter of a 7 circumference?

When you are given the circumference of a circle asked to find the diameter, divide the circumference by pi. The formula for circumference is pi x diameter, so the formula for diameter is circumference divided by pi. So 7 divided by pi equals about 2.22.

How do you get diameter if given the circumference?

The diameter of the circle equals the circumference divided by Pi (3.14159....).

Circumference is 495mm What is the diameter?

About 157.64mm. The Diameter equals the Circumference divided by Pi (about 3.14).

Given the circumference of a circle what is the radius?

Circumference equals the diameter times pi. The diameter is 2 times radius. Radius equals Circumference divided by pi then divided by 2.

What is the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 84?

Circumference equals pi times diameter; so C = 84*pi or about 263.9.
