A natural number can be thought of as a 'counting number' ie 0 1 2 3 4.... off to infinity. They also have to be whole, so for instance 1.5 isn't a natural number.

Prime number are ones which can only be divided by 1 and itself. For example 7 as it can only be divided wholly by 1 and 7. 8 isn't a prime number as it can be divided by 1,2,4 and 8.

Always bear in mind that by convention, 0 and 1 are not considered prime number.
