Electrons are often assumed to be point particles. While it cannot be measured exactly, the upper limit of its radius has been estimated as 10-22 metres (100 septillionths of a metre). Of course, the same number would be even smaller if the value were expressed in kilometres (10-25 km).
Smaller still are lengths associated with the strings of string theory - hypothetical sub-atomic structures. The length of these strings are of the order of 1.6*10-35 metres.
A small number of something

Incredibly small, but innacurate(yet) technology.
yes if you want to check the percentage of something or if you want a decimal
When something has a small number at the top, I cannot type a squared number into my keyboard, you multiply the # by itself. for example, 7(with 6 as the small #) Would become 7x7x7x7x7x7 because there are 6 sevens. Got it? Hope this helps! -

Usually some number will have a recuring decimal, such as one third is 0.333333 and the threes go on forever. If the number is 0.9 and the 9's go on forever there is no practical use in using that number when the difference is so incredibly small that its approximated to 1.
1X10^1 Scientific notation isn't really necessary for number between .00001 and 10000. It's for numbers that are intensely small or incredibly large. For those, it's quicker to write the number than to do the scientific notation.
You can put an infinite number of square units on any surface if the unit is infinitely small
One: Count the number of something in a small area then multiply to get the bigger population
When you say there are a couple of something or a few of something, they both mean a small number of something. A couple usually indicates about two things (people in couples are pairs of people). A few usually means three or above, mostly a number under 9. However, despite this difference, these words can be interchangeably used to indicate a small number of things.
