need more than one number an LCM..
The LCM of 5 and 8 is 40. I don't know the listing method.
If you use the "list the multiples" method of finding the LCM, it is likely that the lists and the size of the numbers on the list will increase as the numbers you are comparing get larger. If you learn the "prime factorization" method, you can avoid that.

33 multiples of 3 plus 12 multiples of 8 minus 4 multiples of both. 41%

Using toString() method
The best method is to add the numbers, using arithmetic.
That's not going to work. Multiples of 5 end in 5 or 0. With three numbers, one of those would have to repeat.
Multiply the numbers together. Double that result. Triple it.
