When solving these types of problems, follow BEDMAS.
B-Brackets. You always answer the equation in the brackets first.
E-Exponents. For instance, 3 to the power of 3 isn't the same as 3x3 because you're multiplying 3x3x3=27.
D-Division
M-Multiplcation. Division and multiplication go together. For example, 8x2 divided by 4. Even when you divvide 2 by 4 first, then multiply 8 by 2, it's the same product as doing it the other way around, but you must always answer from left to right when it comes to division and multiplication; and addtion and subtraction, but with brackets as an acception.
A-Addition
S-Subtraction *These go together!
Now, using BEDMAS, you can now answer the operation.
7+3x3
=7+9 (because 3x3=9)
=16
2x + 7 = x + 3 x + 7 = 3 x = -4
If: x+3 = 3+7 Then: x = 7
If (x + 3)(x +7) = 0 then either: x + 3 = 0 or x + 7 = 7 Hence x = -3 or -7.
4
7
The answer to 3 plus X plus -7 times 6 equals-38. This is considered to be a math problem.
x + 7 = 3 Subtract 7 from both sides: x = 3-7 = -4
X = -24. -24+7=-17+14=-3
x = 3 and x = 7.x = 3 and x = 7.x = 3 and x = 7.x = 3 and x = 7.
Solve for x. 3x + 3 = x + 7 2x + 3 = 7 2x = 4 x = 2 Check it. 6 + 3 = 2 + 7 It checks.
-3+x=7. x=10
(x2+10x+21)/(x+3) = (x+7)
