The area of the WHOLE rectangle is less than 0.01 sq metres. So it is a lot less than a cent (which is 40 metres2 ). So to the nearest tenth of a cent, the area of the circle, which will be smaller than that of the rectangle, is 0. No calculations required.

Can you Find the length of the diagonal of a rectangle whose dimensions are fifteenm by sixm Approximate to the nearest hundredth?

I can and will. So if you put the diagonal through a rectangle you create a right angled triangle of which you can use pythagoras theorem. x2 = 152 + 62 x2= 261 x = 16.16m

What shape is a rectangle?

The length of a rectangle is 1 cm more than 4 times its width If the area of the rectangle is 97 cm2. find the dimensions of the rectangle to the nearest thousandth.?

Let the length be (4x+1) and the width be x: length*width = area (4x+1)*x = 97 4x2+x-97 = 0 Solving the above quadratic equation works out as: x = -5.051015124 or x = 4.801015124 it must be the latter because dimensions can't be negative. Therefore: length = 20.2 cm and width = 4.8 cm
