The answer will depend on the area of the base, whether or not it is a right pyramid, and its height.
Volume of a pyramid in cubic units: 1/3*base area*height
Volume of a pyramid = 1/3*base area*height
Ok what I think you mean is volume of a pyramid... but ill answer both. Area of a triangle: Base x height x 0.5 Volume of a pyramid: Base area x height x 1/3
Volume of a pyramid = 1/3*base area*height
formula of the volume of a prism = (base area)(height) formula of the volume of a pyramid = (1/3)(base area)(height) therefore, to convert the volume of a prism to that of a pyramid, just divide it by 3
Volume of a squared based pyramid: 1/3*base area*height
V = (area of base * height)/3
You did not give the height of the pyramid and 16 cm is not an area, but the area of the face would be one half the face height of the side of the pyramid times the length of the base side.
Find the area of the base, find the height of the pyramid. Volume = (1/3)*(area of base)*(height)
