Say the decimal out loud to yourself, and the way it sounds will be the fraction. If it is an improper fraction, I'm guessing you know how to change it to a mixed number. For example, if it was .25, then it would be 25 over 100.
decimal: .25 whole: 25 fraction: 25/100 or 1/4
11/25 = 0.44 as a decimal
2 plus 4/25 = 2.16
The fraction 2/25 as a decimal is 0.08, and the fraction 4/25 as a decimal is 0.16. Therefore, when written as a decimal, 2/25 + 4/25 is equal to 0.24.
This cannot be a whole number. It is 4/5 as simplified fraction, or 0.8 as decimal
40/25 = 1 and 3/5 = 1.6
0.32
0.28
The decimal of 3.44 as a fraction is 86/25 and as a mixed number is 3 and 11/25 which are both in their lowest terms.
