Let its sides be x and y:-

If: 2(x+y) = 24.5 then y = 12.25-x

If: xy = 36.75 then x(12.25-x) = 36.75 => 12.25x -x^2 -36.75 = 0

Solving the above quadratic equation: x = 7 or x = 5.25

By substitution: x = 7 and y = 5.25

What is the diagonal length of a rectangle with an area of 532.2672 square cm and a perimeter of 932.4 mm?

The diagonal works out as length of 33.3 cm or 333 mm To solve this you need to apply the equations for the area of a rectangle (a x b) and the perimeter of a rectangle (2a + 2b) as well as the Pythagorean Theorem (a^2 + b^2 = c^2).
