What is different between multiplication and division of vector by a number?

There is no real difference between the two operations. Division by a scalar (a number) is the same as multiplication by its reciprocal. Thus, division by 14 is the same as multiplication by (1/14).

What is the difference between the inverse of addition and the inverse of multiplication?

the inverse of addition is subtraction and the inverse of multiplication is division. Of course, multiplication is just repeated addition so division is just repeated subtraction!

How are decimals and fractions related to division?

Decimals and fractions are ways of representing numbers. Division is an arithmetic operation between two numbers (and the inverse of the multiplication operation). One form of writing the division operation looks like a fraction.

What is the relationship between multiplication and division?

What is the relationship between division and subtraction?

The relationship between division and subtraction is :Division is repeated subtraction. Also, multiplication is repeated addition.

What is the difference between cell division and cell multiplication?

Cell division is when one cell splits into two, as in Mitosis. Cell multiplication is caused by cell division, as when one cell divides into two, it is actually multiplying and dividing at one time. The term "division" is used as 'splitting up,' not in the math term where numbers shrink. In this case, cell division is the splitting of one cell into two and is the same thing as cell multiplication because cell division causes multiplication of the cells.

What is the difference multiplying binomials with factoring polynomials into binomial factors?

It's the difference between multiplication and division. Multiplying binomials is combining them. Factoring polynomials is breaking them apart.

Is there any differences between one third of three fourths and three fourths of one third?

No, it is the same result. The word "of", in problems with fractions, can be replaced by a multiplication sign, and multiplication of any real numbers (including fractions) is commutative.
