B*H (base*height) divided by 2

Q. base=4 height=5 What the area of this triangle?

A. 4*5=20 20 divided by 2=10

the reason the formula is B*H divided by 2 is cus a triangle put next to another triangle is a square and a squares formula is B*H so sence a triangle is half a square that just means you have to do the same formula but just cut it in half. find a right angle on the triangle and figure out the height and base of the right angle then multiply then divide by 2.

A=1/2*b*h orA=b*h/2

Example 1:Find the area of an acute triangle with a base of 15 inches and a height of 4 inches.Solution:A=1/2*b*hA =1/2*(15 in) * (4 in)A =1/2* (60 in2)

=30 in2

A cube is a symmetrical 3-dimensional shape contained by six equal squares. The formula for finding its area is: A = 6a^2 , where a is the length of the side of each edge of the cube.

Ask Travis Larson he's crazy smart at stuff like that.

* * * * *

Actually, the answer will depend on what you already know about the triangle (or can deduce).

There is not really a formula for a cuboid. Cuboids are solid figures with 6 faces. There are formulas for area and volume of a cuboid.

How many faces vertices and edges does a cuboid have?

By Euler's formula the number of faces (F), vertices (V), and edges (E) of any convex polyhedron are related by the formula F + V = E + 2. In the case of a cuboid this gives 6 + 8 = 12 + 2; that is, like a cube, a cuboid has 6 faces, 8 vertices, and 12 edges.

What is the formula for height of cuboid?

The answer depends on what information you have. One possible answer is height = volume divided by base area.

How many faces edges and vertices are there on a cuboid?

A cuboid has 6 faces, 12 edges, and 8 vertices. Note that 6+8-12 = 2, which is due to Euler's formula F+V-E=2.
