Doppler shifted lines. by examining spectrographs of the sun, we can determine, via use of dopper shift, and examining the color of the sun, i.e. yellow, this correlates on a scale of light/heat as roughly 6000 on the Kelvin Scale. if the Sun were blue, we would be able to deduce that the sun was roughly 7500 K. For further info, look up the Kelvin Scale.
It is approximately 1.52207x10^-5 light years. On average it takes just under 8.5 minutes for light to reach the earth from the sun.

Yes, we get lots of heat and light from the sun.
Light from the sun :) Basically the heat of the sun, which we view as light.
light to make heat The the sun burns off the gas from the center of when the sun was made.So it produces heat and light
The chromosphere produces the light and heat for the sun.
Yes, the sun is the origin of heat and light in our biosphere.
the suns heat makes light the sun heat is orange which gives light
The heat and light emitted from the sun comes from the nuclear reactions that occur on it.
From the Sun
fire for heat, light and sun for light.
yes, as the light travels it brings along heat to all of the planets.
sun is the primary source of heat and light......
