parallel lines.
Any polygon, other than a triangle, can have a pair (or more) of parallel lines.
A irregular polygon will not have any parallel lines. :)* * * * *Not true. A rhombus is an irregular polygon and it has two pairs of parallel line!An irregular pentagon can have parallel lines. However, a triangle or a conic section cannot.
Any polygon with four or more sides can have parallel lines. So also can some irregular shapes.
It can be any polygon with more than three sides.
A prism.
A polygon is a shape joined together by 3 or more lines such as a triangle, a quadrilateral, a pentagon, an hexagon ..... etc
There is no specific name for such a shape.
Any polygon, other than a triangle, can have 2 parallel sides.
Any even sided irregular polygon can have opposite sides parallel. A parallelogram would be the simplest of these.
Well a nonagon is a nine sided polygon. If you make the lines or sides parallel, then you will have a parallel figure. Or some parallel lines on a figure (polygon). If you choose to make your polygon (nonagon) have a pair of congruent sides, then your polygon will have some congruent sides. Therefore it really matters what your shape looks like. For example, a quadrilateral can be a square or a kite (or many others but I'm just using these) a kite might have no parallel lines and a square may have 2 sets of parallel lines. Do you get it? Does that answer your question? FYI: A nonagon is also known as a enneagon :)
It is a polygon.
