Guglielmo Bonacci
Leonardo Fibonacci
"Fibonacci" was another name of the creator of the idea.
I am pretty sure it is: 'Leonardo de Pisa', or Leonardo Pisano in italian... the only reason he is called Fibonacci is because his fathers name is Bonacci, and Fi is used as a pre-title. Fi mean son. kind of like John-son, or Robin-son... hope this helps.
fillius bonacci his nick name (fibonacci) is a contraction of both
Because filius Bonacci was his last name.
Leonardo Fibonacci
He was Italian. It's his name.

LEONARDO OF PISA
The Fibonacci Sequence itself was not CREATED by Leonardo of Pisa (more commonly known as Leonardo Fibonacci or simply Fibonacci). He is credited to the introduction of the sequence to the western world, (Hence the name "The Fibonacci Sequence"); however origins of the Fibonacci can be traced back to 200BC. *TJB*
