Half would be 50% of something. So half of half would be 25% of something.
The volume will be reduced to a half of its original value. If the mass is (approximately) evenly distributed throughout the wooden block then the mass will also reduce to a half of its original value and the density will not change.
No it will not change. Density is mass divided by volume. Since the ratio of the mass is 1/2 and the volume ratio is 1/2, there is no change. The same holds true no matter how you cut the block, as both mass and volume change proportionally the same.
Doubling and subtracting 1
Volume of half a sphere = 2/3*pi*radius3 Volume = 2/38pi*103 = 2094.395102 cubic units
The volume reach the half.
Half would be 50% of something. So half of half would be 25% of something.
Density would go up 4 times
Density would go up 4 times
according to the ideal gas equation , volume will be four time of initial value.
It would be half of the original volume. As you reduce the volume the pressure would increase and at half the original volume the pressure would be doubled.
The volume of a cube is x3 where x is the side length. Therefore the volume of half a cube would be x3/2. For instance, if the side length of a cube was 2cm, the volume of one half would be 23/2 which comes out at 4cm3
I really do wonder what would happen. Obviously every one would die considering that more then half the human body is water Did you fail 5th grade or something?
Free cheese for everybody. Seriously, this is not something that could reasonably happen, and it's essentially impossible to predict what might happen if something that can't happen did happen, because we'd have to more or less throw out all the laws of physics that allow us to predict what would happen to get the thing that can't happen to happen.
Nothing, the density stays the same.
half of the world would be homeless.
Persephone did eat something in the Underworld. She was given pomegranate seeds to eat, which she did, thus binding her to the Underworld for half of the year.
