Negatove roots are simply the reciprocals of the positive roots. So negative roots will exist if the number that you are taking a root of is not 0 and the positive root exists.

Can you square root negative numbers?

No,because how many times do you have to multiply negative 1 by to get negative 1? You can't do that. Negative numbers don't have square roots. The operation's undefined. Yes, actually you can.

Zero divide by a negative number is undefined or has a positive or negative answer?

Undefined

Why does zero to a negative power yield infinity rather than undefined?

It IS undefined.

What is the negative reciprocal of 0?

The negative reciprocal of zero would be any undefined fraction. 0/x=0 negative reciprocal: -(x/0)= undefined.

Is the square root of negative 121 undefined?

Yes, the square root of negative 121 is undefined in the set of real numbers. However, in the set of complex numbers, the square root of negative 121 is equal to 11i, where i is the imaginary unit.

Why you cannot divide a number by 0?

The answer does not exist because of complicated calculus. It is technically infinite or undefined because 0 - (negative) is the minor limit that is never reached.

What is the value of log 0?

Value of log 0 is negative infinity (undefined). Because no power can give an answer of zero. it is in fact undefined but written as negative infinity for symbolizing. Otherwise undefined and infinity are two different things.

What is negative 63 divided by 0?

Undefined: You cannot divide by zero

Which careers use Algebraic slopes?

What is an undefined term?

An undefined term is usually applied to a function (or a part) where for some values of the operands the function is not defined within the field in which it is defined. It may be defined in a bigger field. For example, division by zero is not defined anywhere. Square roots of negative numbers are not defined in the domain of Real numbers, but they are perfectly OK in the Complex field.

Why log you is unmdefined?

I am not quite sure what you mean with "log you"; the log is calculated for numbers. The following logarithms are undefined: For real numbers: the logarithm of zero and of negative numbers is undefined. For complex numbers: the logarithm of zero is undefined.

Do negative numbers have cube roots cube roots?

Yes.
