When in life is the Pythagoras theorem used?
When a foundation of a house is built, the corners must be 90°.
You measure the length of two sides of the foundation at a corner. Measure the hypotenuse, the distance between the ends of the sides. Square the 2 sides and add. Take the square root of the sum. That number should be the length of the hypotenuse, if not you better move the sides of the foundation
Baseball and in building fences
Pythagoras' theorem can be used for right-angled triangles. Using the theorem, you are able to calculate what the length of one side of a triangle is.
Pythagoras theorem
Pythagoras is widely remembered for his theorem, which gave us lots of information about triangles that can be widely used in real life and geometry.
