They are the same in that they both have all sides the same length.

However, only the opposite angles of a rhombus need to be equal (for example they could be 80o, 100o, 80o, 100o).

If all four angles of a rhombus are the same (they are all 90o) it is an equilateral rhombus and is also a square.
