I use the rule that:
(a/b)x(c/d)=(ab/cd)
and
(a/b)divided by(c/d)= (ac/bd)
The reason they change is that when you have to find the lowest common factor, you not only have to change the denominator, but also the numerator.

Simplify your answer into lowest term.Do the operation.
To change 0.56 into a fraction, write it as a fraction and then simplify the fraction: 0.56 = 56/100 = 14/25
yes you do of course you do
Disimilar fraction.are fraction with different denominators. Similar fraction.are fraction with the same denominators.
To multiply fractions, multiply the numerators by the numerators, and the denominators by the denominators, and then (if possible) simplify the resulting fraction. For example, 2/3 x 4/5 = 8/15
If its a fraction then we can change the numerators and denominators upside down .This is in case of fraction.
first simplify the fraction then multiply the denominators times the numerators and see if they are equal

If the denominators are the same then it will have a bigger numerator or change them into decimals and then compare them.
You do the numerator divided by the denominator, then simplify the fractions if you can. (this is how you change a improper fraction to a mixed number, you cannot change a proper fraction to a mixed number)
Step I: Find the LCM of the denominators. Step II: Find equivalent fraction such that the new denominators are the LCM. Step III: Carry out the subtraction on these numerators to arrive at the new numerator. Step IV: New denominator = LCM. Step V: Simplify the fraction.
Round the mixed fraction to half of whole.
