There is no such thing as English Math. If it were English then it would be English Maths. In any case, mathematics is universal.

How are math and English different?

'Math(s)' is the shortened form of 'mathematics'. The word mathematics comes from Classical Greece, and means ' to learn '. English is a communicative language. It has a structure known as 'Grammar'. The word ' Grammar' again comes from Classical Greece, Because the Classical Greeks were the first civilisation to structure their language, into nouns, verbs, sentences etc., In England a school that is described as a Grammar School teaches Classical Greek, and Latin , and also teaches the structure of the English language. (A Greek/Grammar teaching School). So if you learn Classical Greek and Latin at the most elementary level, you will learn lots of root words, and mathematical structure. Unfortunately, many schools do not teach 'Classics'. and the world is poorer for it. Many of the 'big' words, in science have their roots in Classics. e.g. Trigonometry(Trig) ; measuring trigons/triangles. Chlorine ; The colour 'Green' (gas)
