Is it?

It's only a little over 3; I have 10 fingers and that is about 3 times bigger than pi, and 20 fingers and toes which is about 6 times bigger than pi.

Or are you referring to the fact that pi has infinitely many decimal places?

It's not alone in that as 1/3, 1/6, 1/7, 1/9, 1/11, 1/13, 22/7 all have an infinite number of decimal places.

pi is an irrational number which means that it has an infinite number of decimal places and cannot be represented as a fraction. It is also a transcendental number.

How big is mercury in miles?

The circumference of Mercury, measured around its equator, is:"pi" times the diameter. So, that's "pi" multiplied by about 3032miles.(Pi is about 3.14159.)So, that's about 9,525 miles.

Can pi decimal place extend to the milky way if so how many would it take?

1. you are in the milky way galaxy already, so it wouldn't have to go anywhere. 2. pi is a number, so an answer would depend on how big you write it. 3. pi has an infinite number of decimal places, so no matter how small you write the numbers it could go anywhere.

How does pi go?

Pi is 3.14159265415.... and so on and so forth. Pi is more commonly used as 3.14 in equations.

How big would a circle be if its circumference was 165ft?

Divide that by pi to get the diameter, or by (2 x pi) to get the radius.

Is their a caculator big enough to show pi?

Not in its entirety.

Pi is a big number?

Pi actually is NOT a big number- it's only 3.14 well, there are like 500 more numbers after that, but just use 3.14. LOL.

Square pie is 3.1416?

pi is 3.14159... so square pi ( pi x pi) equals 9.869

How do you find the radius of a circle only knowing the circumference?

The equation for finding the circumference of a circle is diameter times pi so reverse it to circumference divided by pi which leaves the diameter. The diameter is twice as big as the radius so divide the diameter by 2 and you will find the radius.
