Because earth is a larger planet than the moon, it has a stronger gravity.

Bigger the planet > Stronger the gravity.

That is the rule. Since our moon is a much smaller planet, it has weak gravity, and so the object is not being pulled down as hard, so it reduces the overall mass.

Who an object transported from Earth to the Moon has the?

An object transported from the Earth to the moon has a different weight and same mass.

Why is there a difference in an object's weight on Earth and on the Moon?

Because the gravitational force between any two objects depends on the product of both their masses. The object's weight on earth depends on the object's mass and the earth's mass, whereas its weight on the moon depends on the object's mass and the moon's mass. Since the moon's mass is very different from the earth's mass, the object's weight is also different there.

Why does object have a different weight on the moon than it does on earth?

the earth and moon have different values for the acceleration due to gravity.

Why does an object have different weight on the moon than it does on earth?

the earth and moon have different values for the acceleration due to gravity.

Why is the weight of an object on the moon different from that on earth?

Because there is less gravity on the moon

Why the weight of an object is different on Earth and the moon?

Because of the gravity.

Will The mass of an object will be the same on the Earth as it is on the Moon?

Yeah, but the weight will be different

What is the weight of a 10-kg object on the Moon compared to its weight on Earth?

The weight of any object on the Moon is about 1/6 of the weight of the same object on the Earth.

Will the mass of an object be the same on Earth as it is on the moon?

Yes, but the weight of that mass will be different.

Why is the weight of an object different on earth than on the moon?

Gravity on the moon is one-sixth of that on Earth, so you will exert less force on the moon.
