Yes, so as long as the angle being identified (in this case, angle b) is in the center.

YES!!!!

However, angle indentifiers are always written alphabetically , as 'ABC '

Also angle indentifiers are always written in CAPITAL letters, not 'abc'.

Lower case letter refer to indentified sides opposite to an angle.

e.g.

Angle ABC in a triangle, has the oppisite side to the angle 'B' as the letter 'b'.

What type of triangle is angle ABC?

ABC angle is an angle, not a triangle!

What is the difference between vertex and angle?

An angle can be defined as two rays or two line segments having a common end point. The endpoint becomes known as the vertex(shared endpoints). An angle occurs when two rays meet or unite at the same endpoint. An angle can be identified as ABC or CBA. You can also write this angle as B which names the vertex (common endpoint of the two rays)The vertex (in this case B) is always written as the middle letter. It matters not where you place the letter or number of your vertex, it is acceptable to place the it on the inside or the outside of your angle. You can also name the vertex by using a number. For instance, B could also be named angle 3 if you choose to change the letter to a number. Angle ABC or CBA would be names A3C or C3A or 3.

What measure of angle A will make angle ABC congruent to angle FDE?

To have a congruent angle, the measure of the two angle must be the same, so if ABC is 15 degrees, then FDE would have to be 15 degrees also to be congruent.

Ray BD bisects angle ABC. The measure of angle ABD is represented by 4x-4 and the measure of angle ABC is represented by 7x plus 4. Find the measures of angle DBC.?

Angle ABD = 4x - 4 Angle ABC = twice angle ABD = 7x + 4 So 7x + 4 = 2*(4x - 4) = 8x - 8 So x = 12 Then angle DBC = half of angle ABC = 1/2*(7*12 + 4) = 1/2*88 = 44 degrees.

What are the classification of triangle according to sides and angles?

Classification of Triangles According to anglesIf one angle of a triangle is a right angle (90°), then it is called a Right triangle. Note that the other two angles are acute. If all the angles of a triangle are acute (less than 90°), then it is called an acute angled triangle. If one angle of a triangle is obtuse (greater than 90°), then it is called an obtuse triangle. Note that the other two angles are acute.According to sides:If any two sides of a triangle are equal, then it is called an Isosceles Triangle. In ABC, AB = AC ABC is isosceles. If all the three sides of a triangle are equal, then it is an Equilateral Triangle. In ABC, AB = BC = CA ABC is equilateral. If no two sides of a triangle are equal, then it is called a Scalene Triangle. In ABC, AB BC CA. ABC is scalene.
