There are a bunch of ways of writing ratios. If you compare them to a part out of a whole it could be part out of whole, part:whole, orpart/whole. But if you are just comparing part to part, it could be part to part, part:part, or part/part. If this confuses you, just substitute the words with numbers, like instead of part you could write 4 and instead of whole, you could write 16. You can also reduce ratios so instead of 4 to 16, you can write 1 to 4 since both 4 and 16 are divisible by 4. Hope that helps you. ^_^
:)Thanks, this is, like the only place on the internet I could find that had the answer I was looking for. Thanks, this really helped! :) -User:Samally78

They are called equivalent ratios.
5/10 = 1/2 write the proportion as ratios 5:10 = 1: 2 5/10 = 10/20 or 5:10 = 10:20 5/10 = 15/30 or 5:10 = 15:30
It allows the ratios to be compared more easily. But they are NOT all defined as unit ratios. My monitor has an aspect ratios of 4:3 or 16:9.
yes
i dont know
To write equal ratios multiply both terms by the same number or divided both terms. For example, 2/ 9 is a ratio equal ratio will be 4/18. There is no difference between equal ratios and equivalent ratios.

if u give control ratios used in budgeting i can write program in C/C++
Move on to the next task.
As a simple ratio...it would be 30:1
Ratios- Ex} 2:3 2/3 2 to 3 ****Those are the 3 ways you can write ratios. Unit Rate- 216 points ------------- 4 games ***Which would equal 54/1
4 to 3 or 4:3 ratio
Don't write "the following" if you don't provide a list.
You can write any fraction greater than 1 as a mixed fraction. It is not customary to use mixed fractions for ratios.
stoichiometric coefficients.
To effectively write genotype and phenotype ratios in a genetic study, one must first determine the possible genotypes and phenotypes based on the traits being studied. Then, the ratios can be expressed by listing the different genotypes and phenotypes and their frequencies in the population being studied. This helps to show the inheritance patterns and relationships between different traits.
