I suppose your talking about a triangle. The angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees. So A + B + C = 180 If A is three times the size of B and if A is C + 16 degrees Then (3B) + B +(3B - 16) = 180 So, let's remove the brackets..... 3B + B + 3B - 16 = 180 Add the Bs and move the 16 to the other side of the equation... 7B = 180 + 16 7B = 196 B = 196 / 7 B = 28 So now we know B we can work out the other angles... A = 3B = 3 x 28 = 84 C = A - 16 = 84 - 16 = 68 A = 84 B = 28 C = 68 ----- Sum 180
The equivalent international standard for Indian standard IS 513 is EN 10130. Both standards specify the general requirements for cold-rolled low-carbon steel flat products for cold forming, with similar technical parameters and characteristics.
The equivalent to BS 4360 Grade 43A in Indian Standard is IS 2062. Both standards specify general construction steel grades with similar chemical composition and mechanical properties.

It is a standard. BS EN means british standard, europen normal,ISO is international standards organsiation. 9000 is the standard number, 2000 is the year.
The ASTM equivalent for BS EN 10264-2 is AST A342. These designations are set for steel wires and wire products
IS 513 is an Indian Standard that specifies the requirements for hot-rolled carbon steel sheets and strips. While it is a recognized standard in India, it may not be directly equivalent to BS (British Standard) specifications, as each standard is developed based on the specific needs and practices of its respective region. However, similar grades and specifications may exist in BS standards, and a detailed comparison would be necessary to determine equivalence. Always consult relevant technical documents or standards organizations for precise equivalency information.
The British Standard (BS) equivalent to ASTM C579, which covers the testing of hydraulic cement-based materials for compressive strength and other properties, is BS 6319-3. This standard also addresses similar testing procedures for determining the properties of cement and concrete. Both standards aim to ensure consistency and reliability in testing cementitious materials.
= BS EN ISO 17292:2004 = it is better to use ISO 14313 2007 edition as most practical and coverage for Pipeline valves
They're product standards: BS - British Standard EN - European Norm ISO - International Standardisation Organisation I think 20345 is in reference to safety footwear.
The BS equivalent of ASME B30.9, which pertains to slings used for lifting, is BS 7121. This British Standard outlines the requirements for the safe use of lifting equipment and accessories, including slings, ensuring proper design, manufacture, testing, and maintenance for safe lifting operations.
BS 476 and EN 12209 are not directly equivalent as they pertain to different standards and testing methodologies. BS 476 is a British standard focused on fire tests for building materials, while EN 12209 is a European standard that specifies performance requirements for locks and latches. Although both standards are important in their respective contexts, they serve different purposes in safety and performance assessments. Therefore, they cannot be considered equivalent.
BS standards are british standards EN standards are European Union standards. For individual differences you would need to look at the particular standard you are concerned with. There are many thousands.
