in the turbo model it is in a relay box on the left hand side of the front passenger seat area, you need to take off a kickpanel to get at it (below and to the right of the radio. mine is a green relay I got from ftp groton. I can't find the flasher relay though, any answers?

Ok...I have an 89 Shadow and the relay for it is located in the cluster between the battery and the strut tower on the drivers side. On the strut tower, you should see 2 silver relay boxes. the one closest to the engine is the starter relay, next to that is the radiator fan relay. The a/c relay is located between them and the battery, under fender lip, right next to the air intake. Hope this helps...you need to be a little more specific in your question to get better answers.

remove your air cleaner then right behind it (closest to firewall) Is your glow plug controller! that is where the controller is for the glowplugs, but the relay switch for the glowplugs is on the passenger side of the motor. it is bolted on to the side of the fender. hope that answers your question
check the coolant temp. sensor, this sends info to the computer to turn on the cooling fan. Check for other answers for the cooling fan, I posed a answer on how to replace the fan relay with out removing the front facia and bumper
