The next term is ' d ' .
It is w.
This is a quadratic equation I am not even going to try to factor. Use the quadratic formula.( discriminant says two real roots ) w = -b +/- sqrt(b^2-4ac)/2a a = 1 b = -35 c = -304 w = -(-35) +/- sqrt[(-35)^2 - 4(1)(-304)]/2(1) w = 35 +/- sqrt(2441)/2 I am not even going to factor under that radical, but the square root of 2441` is a bit over 49.

distance b/w 2 supports is clear span. then c/c dis b/w 2 supports is eff span
Let me try and explain this to you mathematically. Consider yourself as "A". your boy friend as "B" and the his ex-girlfriend as "C" It is pretty obvious that A and C both have things that B is attracted to. However B often looses interest in A or C after a certain period of time, therefore there is a good chance that B will leave either A or C if someone else came along with the features of both A and C, namely "D". In other words, your b.f might leave you soon for his ex once he tires of you or will leave both of you for the next girl who comes along with characteristics of both you and his ex-girlfriend.
