Sketch the two adjacent angles 90 degrees and 90 degrees This is an example of angles?

Adjacent angles are two angles that are next to each other and share one side (ray) in common. They do not have to add up to 180 degrees, but they can. If the two of them add up to 180 degrees, they are called a linear pair, since their non-common sides will be opposite rays that make a straight line. Two 90-degree angles that are adjacent are a linear pair. They are supplementary (meaning they add up to 180 degrees) and a sketch of them will look like a T, either upside-down (typical), sideways, or right-side up, depending on how you want to draw them.

What does a triangle look like with the angles of 70 70 and 40?

It looks exactly like an Isosceles triangle, because two of its three sides have the same length.

Are the alternate interior angles always congruent?

Adjacent angles of a square? You have to have at least two squares to compare the congruency of angles. Since all the angles of a square equal 90 degrees, adjacent angles of any TWO squares will be congruent. I suggest you look up the definition of CONGRUENT. - wjs1632 -

Why do polygons always have the same number of sides and angles?

A polygon is a closed shape made up of only straight lines and angles. When you add another side, you must also add another angle to close the shape. To demonstrate this, try to draw a shape with closed edges and only straight lines with a different number of angles. Its impossible to create

Are all complementary angles adjacent?

No, because a complamentary angle just equals 90 degrees. An adjacent angle has a vertex and a common ray the same. If you have two angles that are not touching they cannot be adjacent because they dont have a same ray, but they may have a same vertex. If the two angles add up to 90 degrees they are complimentary and dont have to have anything the same. Hope this helps! If it is confusing look up what an adjacent angle is, then look up what a complamentary angle is! :)

How many pairs dose a square have?

It has 6 possible pairs of sides, although all the pairs will look the same. It has 6 possible pairs of angles, although all the pairs will look the same.

How do you find the measure of an adjacent angle?

There are two types of relationships: supplementary and complimentary. Supplementary angles always add up tp 180 degrees. Complimentary angles always add up to 90 degrees. If you are dealing with complimentary angles, look for a right angle.

How would it like if a pentagon have two pairs of congruent sides and two pairs of congruent angles?

It could look like a child's drawing of a house: a rectangular shape with a triangular roof on top.The vertical sides of the rectangle, and the sloped sides of the roof would be the two congruent pairs of sides. The angles at the base of the rectangle and at the base of the roof would be the two pairs of congruent angles.

What is a supplementary and complementary angle?

A complementary angle is an angle that when added to another angle creates a 90o angle. A supplementary angle is an angle that when added to another angle creates a 180o angle.

What are complements and supplements?

Angles which total 90 deg are complementary, 180 deg supplementary. Well when I look for the meaning of supplement it says a supplement is something added to complete a thing.. and a complement is kind of like a supplement. so if you look at the internet and typed "complementary and supplementary angles" you will get it more. Complements are angles which add up to 90 degrees with another angle and supplements are angles which add up to 180 degrees with another angle. Like, the complement of 30 degrees would be 60 degrees (90-30) degrees and its supplement would be 150 degrees (180-30) degrees.

What do supplementary lines look like?

They are just straight lines that is a 90* angle.

What do left angles look like?

there is no such thing as left angles.

How much degrees are two right angles?

One right angle is equal to 90 degrees, or a vertical line extending from the o degree plane. Therefore, two right angles, presumably side to side, would have 180 degrees, since together the would be supplementary angles. Supplementary angles are two angles which combine to from 180 degrees, and 90 plus 90 would equal 180 degrees. Look at angle DBE and at angle EBC. Each are 90 degree angles, or right angles, and together equal 180 degrees.
