Starting from the end the function is an algebraic expression showing the relationship between variables in an equation. The simplest general form being that of two variables with a linear relationship usually shown in the form Y=mx +c where y and x are variables and m and c are constants.
The graph, although existing in other forms, is usually shown using Cartesian co-ordinates with a vertical y axis and a horizontal x axis. The above function would appear as a straight line cutting the y axis at value c and with a gradient value m.
If m and c had positive values then the line would slope from left to right cutting through the y axis at c and the x axis at -c/m.
The table is generally the way of setting out results to show accurate information - usually the results of an experiment or investigation. It is often difficult to visualise or calculate relationships from a table, whereas the graph will illustrate it, and with simple linear relationships the function can be derived by noting the axis intersections.
Eg. A straight line cutting through the x axis at -2/3 and the y axis at 2would be expressed as y=3x+2.
Input/output table, description in words, Equation, or some type of graph
Depends what the graph is.
An exponential function is a nonlinear function in the form y=ab^x, where a isn't equal to zero. In a table, consecutive output values have a common ratio. a is the y-intercept of the exponential function and b is the rate of growth/decay.
A graph can be more useful for making presentations because it is more visual, and it can be easier to recognize a pattern in a graph for the same reason. However, a graph doesn't have any more data than a table with the same data.
y = sin x, or y = cos x etc. can be graphed by making a table of values. The x column in the table would be angle measurements (usually in degrees or radians) and the y column would be the trig. function value. Then plot the points and sketch the curve going thru those points. Ex: for y = sin x x , y 0 0 30 0.5 45 0.707 etc and then graph these
rule, table of values and graph
A data table is a list of statistics - a graph is a physical representation of the data.
To compare a linear function in a table to one represented as a graph, you can examine key characteristics such as the slope and y-intercept. In the table, the slope can be determined by calculating the change in y-values divided by the change in x-values between two points. On the graph, the slope is visually represented by the steepness of the line, while the y-intercept is the point where the line crosses the y-axis. Both representations should reflect the same linear relationship if they describe the same function.

both collects data
You can use a table or a graph to organize you findings.
In general you cannot. Any set of ordered pairs can be a graph, a table, a diagram or relation. Any set of ordered pairs that is one-to-one or many-to-one can be an equation, function.
Data is neither a table nor a graph, however, data may be presented in a table or depicted by a graph.
Input/output table, description in words, Equation, or some type of graph
To determine if a table represents a linear function, check if the differences between consecutive y-values are constant when the x-values increase by a consistent amount. If the change in y is the same for every equal change in x, the function is linear. Additionally, the graph of the function would form a straight line. If either condition is not met, then it does not represent a linear function.
