Radius2 = A/pi
Radius = √(A/pi) (the square root of A/pi)
In other words:
For example: The area is 12.5664 square centimeters.
A (area): A = pi.r.r
D (diameter): d = 2 x R
C (circumference): C = pi x D
Always remember: r (radius), is always half the diameter (D).
So you could simply say r = d/2.
But, what if you only had the C (circumference) to work with?
We say C = 10. Find r
C = pi x D
We know pi = 3.1416.
So, to find r (radius). 10 = pi x D
10 = 3.146 x D
D = 10/3.146
D = 3.179
Since r (radius) is always half of D (Diameter)... We now have D. Go figure ;)
the formula for the area of a circle is 3.14 x radius squared
Well the formula for a full circle is 3.14xradius squared So cut the radius in half then square it the multiple by 3.14
The formula for the area of a circle is πr2, or pi x radius^2 The radius of a circle is the diameter divided by two, and pi is approx. 3.1415926535
πr² is the formula for finding the area of a circle. To find the area of a semicircle just divide the answer by two. So take the radius, square it, which in this case would be 100, multiply it by π [pi (3.14)] and divide it by two.
The area of Circle S can be found by using the area formula for circles. The area of a circle is pi times the radius squared. So, the area of Circle S with a 1 inch radius is Pi inches squared.
Area of circle = pi*(radius)2
Area of a circle = pi*radius squared
Area of a circle = pi*radius2
The area of a circle with a known radius can calculated using the following formula where r is the radius : A = Pi(r)2
The formula for the area of a circle is πr^2, where π (pi) is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14159, and r is the radius of the circle. So, "pi r squared" refers to the area of a circle, calculated by multiplying π by the square of the radius. This formula is fundamental in geometry and mathematics for finding the area enclosed by a circle.
Using 3.14 as Pi the area of circle is: 1017.36
Pi * R squared, where R is the radius of the circle in question
To calculate this you will need the diameter of the circle. The formula is: diameter/2*pi If you don't know the diameter you can also use the area of the circle: Sqrt(Area/pi) = radius
pi*radius2 is the formula for finding the area of a circle.
It is the formula for finding the area of a circle which means: pi times radius squared
It is the formula used in finding the area of a circle which is pi times radius squared
The formula for finding the area of a circle is A= pi r2. Square the radius then multiply it by pi. For your instance, 2.5 squared is 6.25. 6.25 x pi= 19.634... The area of a circle with the radius of 2.5 is 19.634...
