the answer is 22,97

How many degrees in a seven sided shape?

You work out the sum of the inside angles by taking the number of sides of the shape minus two, then multiplying that by 180. For example, a quadrilateral has four sides, so you take away two from four and get two. Multiply two by 180 and you get 360˚. For each inside angle, if it is regular (a square) divide 360 by four (the number of angles) and you get 90˚. For an outside angle, do 360 (the degrees of a full circle) minus 90 (inside angle). You get 270˚. The sum of the outside angles is then 270 times four - 1080˚. Get the idea? So, a seven sided shape has seven sides (duh). Minus two is five. Five times 180 is 900˚. If it is a regular shape, divide 900 by seven (it isn't a whole number - sorry), and that is one inside angle. If you want the OUTSIDE angles, find each inside angle then take that away from 360. Times by seven for the sum of the outside angles. This was a very long way of explaining, but I didn't know what type of angle you wanted! Hope it makes sense!!! ;)

What shape has seven equal sides?

A heptagon or a septagon. Equal-sided shapes are called "regular" so a seven equal sides shape is a regular heptagon.square square

What is a 7 side figure?

A seven sided figure would be a heptagon. A Reuleaux heptagon, is a seven sided figure, but having constant diameter. [As seen in some British coins]. But a regular heptagon would have seven equal sides that were each straight.

How many diagonals can be drawn from one vertex of a seven sided polygon?

There can be 14 lines in a seven side shape * * * * * That is the total number of diagonals from ALL vertices. Not what the question asked, though. From one vertex, there can be 4. One to every other vertex except for itself and one each on either side.

What is a regular seven sided polygon?

A seven sided polygon is a heptagon. The fact that it is regular means that all its sides are of the same length. All its angles are of the same measure = 128.57 or 128 4/7 degrees.

How many interior angles in a heptagon?

A heptagon is a seven-sided polygon. It has seven interior angles. If it is a Regular polygon, each interior angle measures approximately 128.57 degrees, to a total of 900 degrees.

Is a 7 sided polygon regular?

If the seven sides are all the same length , then it is a regular polygon. A seven sided polygon is named a 'HEPTAGON'. If the seven sides are regular then it can be named as a ' Regular Heptagon'.

How many degrees are in the measure of an interior angles of a regular seven sided polygon?

A formula for this question is that the total measure of the interior angles of a polygon is 180 degrees multiplied by 2 less than the number of sides. For a seven sided polygon, this formula yields 180 X 5 = 900 degrees.

What is the measures of the interior angle of a polygon with seven sides?

128.57 degrees

What is the Sum of the exterior angles of a seven sided polygon?

The sum of the exterior angles of any n-sided regular polygon, including a seven-sided polygon, is 360 degrees.

Why is a heptagon called a heptagon?

Ancient Greek "hepta" = seven, "gonia" = angle. It is a polygon with seven angles (vertices).

Is a sectagon a regular shape?

A sectagon is not a shape. I think you mean SEPTagon, which is a seven-sided polygon. It may or may not be regular. A regular polygon has all sides congruent and all angles congruent.
