The square root of 2,500 is 50.
The square root of negative 40 is: 6.324555 i
The negative square root of 324 is -18.
There is no square root of a negative number. It would have to be a half negative, which is impossible.
If the positive square root (for example, square root of 2) is irrational, then the corresponding negative square root (for example, minus square root of 2) is also irrational.
