There are four quarts to a gallon; therefore 2 quarts would be a half gallon.
It depends on the height of the ceilings. If they are 10 feet, that would put the painted area at 420 square feet. Paint covers approx 350 - 400 square feet per gallon over a sealed surface, depending on the texture of the wall so it would take about 1 1/2 gallons of paint for one coat. Lower ceilings will use a little less, cathedral or tall ceilings more. Add in another gallon if you are painting the ceiling.
You should use no more than about 55 ccs or two ounces of thinner to a litre of paint. Always check the instructions on the label to make sure.
You people are idiots. What is being asked is about the LIQUID gallon....1 gallon [US, liquid] = 3,785.4 milliliters...Furthermore, paint is NOT the same weight as water. Some are very close, but some paint weighs much more depending on the base. For example, Copper Paint, used to pain ship hulls is very heavy.....generally, the weight is close, but you should not answer these questions unless you know what you are talking about. Some of these answers are clearly from people who haven't a clue. I managed a paint store for 10 years.
about 350 square feet, this can vary depending on what type of surface you are painting. surfaces such as concrete can suck up paint therefore you would need more paint for them
Which weighs more: a pound of bricks or a pound of feathers? C'mon now... I hope this was meant as a joke. Well since the question was, "How much does a GALLON of latex paint weight"? um yeah, there is a way higher density in say, thick latex paint rather than water... So I would say you're looking at anywhere from 8 to 10lbs depending on the paint.
more 1 gallon = 4 quarts 1 quart = 0.25 gallon
1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litres5 x 3.78541178 = 18.9270589 litres

4 quarts or 1 gallon which is more?
no 1 gallon = 4 quarts 1 quart = 0.25 gallon
One gallon equals 4 quarts. Four liters equals 4.2 quarts. Therefore, one gallon is slightly less than four liters.
yes 20 qts 1 gallon = 4 quarts 1 quart = 0.25 gallon
10 gallons is less than 6 quarts, because 10 gallons is 40 quarts. There are 4 quarts in a gallon.
My best guess is less because 5 gallons is 20 Quarts and that seems like alot...
Each gallon has 4 quarts, so 4 gallons have 16 quarts. - So 17 quarts is more.
