a PI bead is about as big around as a silver dollar and flatish like a puffy pancake.. with a large hole in the center. They are valued according to what material they are made of... Jasper, agate, jade, and many other semi-precious materials. I would love to find some for sale on line. They may be oriental in origin but they are sought after everywhere.
