Since right about half the text is bolded, it takes just about half the amount of time as reading the whole bible text.
Based on the time frame you gave it will take one year to read the bible in a year.
Yes, there are many contradictions in the bible. Why not read it and take notes.
while reading the Bible, take a shot every time you read the word "He"
You could no doubt read the entire Bible in less than one month, although you may have gained little. If you try to read with understanding, cross-referencing similar or related passages and seeking information to explain obscure texts, it would take far more than one month, but you would have a better understanding of the texts.
read ze Bible and take it to heart
It would be good to take a poll. I would answer "I read it a few times a week" meaning quotes and not the whole thing!
The average reader can finish "To Kill a Mockingbird" in about 8-10 hours, depending on reading speed and interruptions.
It would take 9 hours to read 72 pages. You can calculate this by dividing the total number of pages to be read (72) by the number of pages read in one hour (8).
This would take a very long time, several years I would expect, not to mention you would get very little benefit. Many times a subject is discussed throughout the whole chapter and sometimes spilling into another chapter. It would be best to read 3 or 4 chapters a day. At least you could read through the Bible in one year and gain much more benefit.
The average reading speed for a slow reader is between 200 and 300 words per minute (let's decide on 250 wpm). The King James version of the Bible (both Old and New Testaments) contains 774746 words. This means that it would take 774746 / 250 minutes to read. This is equal to 3099 minutes or nearly 52 hours, or just over 2 days if you read nonstop. However, based on two hours reading per day, you could get through the bible in 26 days or just under a month.
