The time taken will depend on the speed at which the journey is undertaken. This, in turn, will depend on a number of factors:

· the speed at which your vehicle can travel,

· speed limits (and whether or not you obey them),

· road conditions,

· traffic

· whether or not you make comfort stops, fuelling stops etc.

As a steady 60 miles per hour, non-stop, it would take approx 1.9 years. That does not take account of any stops for food, rest, sleep or refuelling. Also, over such a distance, the car will require servicing, spares etc.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
