The answer is about 2 and a half hours. You divide 200 by 80. To make it simpler you cross out the 0 on 80 to make it 8 and then one 0 on 200 to make it 20 so the new problem is 20 by 8. 8/2 is 16 and 16+4 is 20 and 4 is close to 5 so it makes it 2 and a half hours.
Side note... the above explanation confused me. Here is my way of looking at it. You can go 80 miles in an hour. So that's 160 miles in two hours. Well there is only 40 miles left to go after that, and at 80 mph it would only take 1/2 hour more to do that. so two and 1/2 hours is it.
