Depending on the contractor doing it anywhere from .08 - .50 per sqft. 8 cents is a quick and dirty strip and wax and at 50 cents I would expect to be able to read a newspaper from the reflection. Either way make sure that the contractor you choose is experienced and walk the floor between the end of the strip and before the wax is laid. Any imperfections that you see will show through on the final finish. Also have the floor burnished within a week of finishing to fully harden the wax and maximize the shine.

That depends on the type of wax that is used in the salon you get it done in. But basically it is removal a little more hair than just the bikini line, the client is left with what is commonly known as "landing strip" it is a normally a rectangular shape. Some salons can do different shapes etc. Warm wax is typically used hair is removed from the bikini line sides first and then further in and finally across the top is done. wax is appiled with a spatula and removed with a strip. Warm wax is the same kind of wax used to wax legs, if u find a salon that uses strip wax is a specialised wax for bikini area. Strip wax is appiled with a spatula, drys and removed straight off without strips.
strip the wax and rewax, or apply mild heat and rebuff the affected area.

There are "bug and tar" removers in the car cleaning isle of the department stores. This will work to remove sap also. These will strip the wax off your car also, so it is a good idea to wax afterwards.
