the answer would be 10
* * * * * hi hi hi hi hi hi hi i am from India and will atempt to scam you
I suspect that this is a "fill in the blank" question and the blank should appear between "the" and "after" and the word in that blank should be "remainder".
******
My 5th grader got the same question. You are right it is a fill in question!
The question should read: A number is divisible by another number when the __________________ after division by that number is 0.
It seems to make more sense if they wrote it as follows: A number is divisible by another number if after dividing the remainder is zero.
The answer is remainder
7
that's correct
Any number that has a 5 or 0 in the ones place is divisible by 5. If a number is evenly divisible by another number, it is NOT prime.
0 is an integer. 0 is an even number since it is divisible by 2. Since it is an even number, it is not an odd number. 0 is not prime, since it is divisible by numbers other than 1 and itself.
no because a full number would be divisible by 2, in this case it is not. Hints: If the final digit is odd the full number is odd. If it is even or 0, the whole number is divisible by 2: if 0 the answer will end in 5.
If the last digit of a number is 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 0 then the number is divisible by 2. The digit of 619 is 9, so 619 is not divisible by 2.
A number is divisible by another when the remainder after division by that number is zero.
No its not
... when the remainder after division ...
A multiple.
Its the remainder
that's correct
no of course not only if u dont divide actually by 0 if u did and you get a negative it becomes a integer
Do the division and if the remainder is 0 then the number is divisible by the something and if not it isn't.
yes, this just says that there is a 0 remainder. For example, 6 is divisible by 3 since the remainder is 0
You need to carry out the division. If the remainder is 0 then it is divisible, if not it is not. There are divisibility rules which can help with small or simple divisors but these are quite limited.
