Same as percentages under 100.
Multiply the number by 100.
Examples:
1.6 = 160 percent
5 = 500 percent
3/2 = 1.5 = 150 percent.
etc.
It is: (46/60) times 100 = 76.67% rounded to two decimal places
Most people work with percentages in one way or another.
percentages are used to tell the over all number
The two examples below shows how to work out the percentages of two numbers: 45% of 57: 45 ÷ 100 × 57 = 25.65% 56% of 34: 56 ÷ 100 × 34 = 19.04%
Multiply the decimal by 100. Example: 0.30 X 100 = 30.0 or 30%.
49 over 100 in percentage = 49%
for ex. : if we have to find 25% of 100 we must do it like this put the percentage number over 100 like 25/100 and then multiply this fraction by 100
To determine percentages less than 100, multiply the number by x/100. The same holds for percentages over 100 - for example, finding 250 percent of a number is equivalent to multiplying the number by 250/100, that is, 2.5.
27/50 = 54/100
Double it - to give 90 out of 100 - or 90%
% rate = 72.22%= 13/18 * 100% = 0.7222 * 100% = 72.22%
2/5 = 40/100 = 40%
To calculate X, as a percentage of Y, divide (100*X) by Y.
put the percent over 100 then divide the top by the bottom and it is a decimal.
4/13 x 100 = 30.76% (rounded)
Percentages are fractions over 100. So 45% is 45/100 You can then simplify that to 9/20
the percentage of 100 = 10000%
